OVERCOMING WEIGHT INSECURITIES FOR SWINGING

Swinging is indeed an enjoyable activity, one that comes with a fulfilling satisfaction of having to move in a particular motion, either going up and down or left and right, all having an accomplishment of fun. It is something that everyone loves, children and adults alike. But unfortunately there are some people who fail to see the fun side of swinging. It could be because of many reasons, reasons that are peculiar to their lifestyle, reasons that are personal, or even reasons pertaining to their weight. Most people think that in order for you to engage in such activity as swinging, your weight has to be the first factor to consider. Where a man weighing 75kg would consider swinging, another weighing 185kg would dread it. But truth be told, our weight doesn't determine whether or not we choose to swing, it only makes us insecure of the fact that swinging might be dangerous and as thus we might sustain an injury if we choose to overlook it.
There are ways of overcoming weight insecurities in swinging. First of all, always know that swinging is not a weight factor activity, i.e it doesn't matter how much you weigh, just about anyone can swing. A swing has been constructed in a way that it is able to support any weight placed upon it, with its strong iron pillars, it can accommodate a even much larger weight than it should. You are probably thinking that your swing is not strong enough to accommodate your weight, but little did you know that your swing has been been built with the best materials capable of withstanding any weight. In swing construction, you would be happy to know that your swing has been made with the best type of wood, this wood is known as the cedar wood. Known as one of the strongest set of woods in the world, it can carry 5 times the weight of any appliance you know. Also strong metals have been used to increase weight capacity of the swing, causing it to be able to carry at least 300 pounds and at most 800 pounds worth of weight.
Secondly, never have the notion that you are going to fall when you are swinging. Most people think that if i climb this swing, there is a 100% chance that i might fall and most probably sustain an injury. Never think of falling off from a swing!!. Swings have safe spacing between you and the ground. It is almost impossible to sustain any serious injury on the account of falling off from a swing, the distance from the ground is not more than 2 fts, so falling off from a swing is most likely never going to happen. If you still have insecurities about swinging, it is advisable to buy stronger swings even though all swings are just as strong, getting a swing strong enough for you is advisable. Might I recommend the Alemon 700lbs weight capacity chair spring for porch swings. Strong enough to accommodate 700 to 800 pounds worth of weight.
Moreover, testing out a swing before fully riding helps to remove fear of swinging. One who has never ridden on a swing before might find it hard to swing but giving it a test ride helps in overcoming that fear. We feel we are too heavy and if we try to ride it, it might break. A test ride allows you to be sure of the capability of the swing, whether or not its strong enough, whether or not it can carry you. Test riding is important, it allows you check all these factors and gives you certainty. So before fully riding a swing, always give it a test ride just to be safe.
There are some people with psychological issues as pertaining to swinging. These psychological issues might be caused by events in the past, maybe for example, one witnesses an accident in the process of swinging or one sustains an injury during swinging. These psychological issues become a sort of phobia that disallows us to actually partake in this act. Many at times, many of us think  we incur these accidents due to the fact that we are too heavy for it, and then we resolve to never taking a part in such activity. Overcoming weight insecurities is the most important thing  in swinging, once we are comfortable about our weight and that we are certain that our weigh is not a reason to not swing, then we would be able to actually join a large group of people who swing.
These mentioned factors can help in getting rid of this weight insecurity. If it helps, another factor to be considered might be dieting as well. Dieticians can help in this aspect. If one thinks he or she is overweight, then visiting the dietician is advisable. There are various food substances that can help reduce ones weight. So if one thinks weight is a factor for swinging, then dieting should be the solution. Once one is comfortable with his or her particular weight, then every insecurity about swinging becomes history.
Finally, overcoming weight insecurities for swinging largely depends on ones personal thoughts. One should care less about how he or she looks on the outside. When we pay attention to what people say about our bodies, it affects every thing we do. For example, we begin to limit the things we do based on the variety of people that do them. For instance, a man who weighs 200 pounds, and who loves swimming might never consider taking swimming as a hobby considering that every one involved in swimming is either fit or slim and as a result it affects the moral of the person who weighs 200 pounds. Same thing applies to swinging. Most people think that those who are involved in swinging are either very fit, have a slim stature, weigh less, and are definitely strong. With these assumptions one who is overweight resolves to having no part in swinging. But what is not clear is the fact that it doesnt matter how much one weighs, swinging is an activity for every body, big or small, short or tall. There are no discriminations to the sport. It is free for all.
For all who have weight insecurities for swinging, just know that your weight, or body mass is not a factor that hinders you from enjoying what everyone else does. Swinging doesn't care about your weight, it only allows you have a good time. So why not overlook that obstacle which is your weight and start having fun with swinging like every one else. Your weight is who you are, being overweighed is not a crime and it really does not stop you from swinging. You may weigh 100 ponds or 200 pounds or even 500 pounds, but having fun is whats important. So do not bother yourself about how heavy you are, just start swinging.
