SECRET LOVERS
PROLOGUE
I roll on my bed for the umpteenth time staring at blank spaces. "This won't do really " I say to myself as I stand up. "Just for how long does Christian want to do this please?, he obviously loves me but please for Christ's sake why does he treat me this way ? Some times behaves as if he loves me and some times as if I'm just a piece of trash" I huff in expersation as I make my way to my wardrobe and start dressing up.
Finding my way to the living room I announce. "Mum, I'm going to church"
"Okay then, just make sure you come back early " she says just as expected.
Trying not to allow my worry about Christian show on my face, I make way to church , pick up some flyers we use in Church to invite people to our special services. I pick up about ten of them and make my way outside the Church to start distributing them.
"I sure won't go alone" I say to myself as I make my way back to my best friend's cyber cafe. "Hey" he says beaming with smiles as soon as he sees me. "Hey asshole , how was your day " I say to him uninterested " what's wrong?" He asks looking concerned
" hope its not that dick head Christian that made you this way again " he says looking angry. "Hmn, what else crashes my mood?" I answer him nonchalantly. "How I wish I could meet that guy, he sure deserves a punch" he says annoyed.
"Never mind sweetheart, that's not why I came here though. I came here to pull you along for my evangelism " I say smiling "so I have to go with you now right?" He says expressionless. "Its not like you have a choice dear, just tell your boss that you are leaving " I say and after telling his boss goodbye and I drag him down the stairs .
The first people I give the flyers to collect it , not with enthusiasm though . just like ‘let's just collect it, let them not disturb us’. anyways, I just hoped they'll read the contents.
"So you broke up with Isaac because you still have feelings for Christian?" He asks with ruffled on his face." Yeah, I did" I reply
" I feel bad for the guy though" he says referring to Isaac " stop making me feel more guilty than I already feel please" I say to him as I reminisce on the way people talked to me about just dating Isaac for the fun of it. Its not really my fault though, I just thought I could end up loving him
"Can't you see we are Muslims ?" One man says with obvious disgust as my he rejects the flyers my friend handed over "can't all these people just pretend to be nice" I say to my friend trying not to get angry "its not their fault really, we are probably the tenth people to come and give them this flyer today " he says and I nod in understanding.
After walking for about an hour and having just two flyers left each we decided to head back home as Jason was complaining already .
Almost getting Jason's work place, I pass by a gas station where one of my friends used to stay, I really wasn't in any mood to exchange pleasantries but this guy sure won't hear any of that "Vivian, didn't you see me?" He says as I smile and make my way towards him. Jason scrunches up his face as he's not a big fan of the guy . I just smile imwardly at his childish behavior. "Hey mark, what's up" I say and notice he's standing with two other guys. One who looks familiar and the other I've not met before. The one whom I've not met before looks at me and speaks up.
"Babe, can I......." The rest just come out in a blur as I'm not paying attention . please what else does he want to say? apart from what they all say which I'm literally tired of hearing . "he's talking to you " mark says nudging my side. "I said what's your name" the guy repeats and I just run my eyes over him from head to toe. All his body features were screaming "player! Heartbreaker!! Stay away!!!" . "can I get your phone number please? " he says flashing a smile.
"No, I don't give my numbers to strangers" I say disinterestedly
" I'll give your number to him"mark shouts and I internally cuss him. "Okay, you are free, give him" I say and leave with my best friend .If getting my permission for my number will make them leave me, no problem please.
"Dearie, I'll see you later. Gotta go now because my mum would be waiting already"
"I know right" he says as we bade our farewells and I make my way to my house continuing my thinking about Christian.
Nice.

1. You might want to expand the story descriptively, for fuller comprehension and appreciation of the setting.
2. Last little drop. Crosscheck for any error. Noticed one or two spelling errors.
Well done.
